Mt. Hebron Cemetery is actually composed of four distinct burying grounds: the centuries-old former cemetery of the old Reformed Church, the equally old Lutheran Cemetery (replete with German inscriptions on the tombstones), the Stonewall Confederate Cemetery, and the Hebron Cemetery itself. Abundant with glorious poplar and maple trees, crepe myrtle and smoke bush, and other plants, Mt. Hebron is one of the country's most beautiful and historic final resting spots. It lies in the heart of the city, just south of Douglass Park.
